Palace Skateboards started in London in 2009. It was founded by Lev Tanju, who loved skateboarding and wanted to create clothes for skaters like himself. Lev named the brand “Palace” after the skatepark in London where he and his friends spent a lot of time skating.
In the beginning, Palace was just a small shop selling skateboards and clothes. But it quickly became popular among skaters for its cool designs and high-quality gear. Palace’s logo, which looks like a palace with a triangle on top, became a symbol of the brand’s unique style.
As Palace grew, it opened more stores in cities around the world, like New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. The brand also started collaborating with big companies like Adidas and Reebok, which helped Palace become even more famous. Today, Palace Skateboards is known worldwide for its bold designs, British attitude, and its love for skateboarding culture.
Palace's last full-length “Beta Blockers” premiered two years ago, marking the official introduction of Jahmir Brown. The two-song part highlighted Jahmir’s versatility and power, with standout footage filmed in his hometown of Philadelphia and in London. Following the release, Jahmir was awarded his first pro model deck.
