Product Description
Built for anyone who just wants to ride, the General Public is Public's most accessible board yet. Alert Camber keeps you planted and lively underfoot, while tip-and-tail rocker adds forgiveness for slides, float in deep snow, and butter-ready presses. A smooth, predictable flex from nose to tail means you spend less time fighting the board and more time having fun. Available in the widest size run in PUBLIC's lineup.
Product Details
| Rocker Type | Alert Camber: hybrid camber profile with regular camber between the feet and rocker on the tip and tail, providing forgiveness on rails, extra snap for getting off the ground, and extra float in deep snow for effortless presses |
| Flex | 5 / 10 |
| Shape | Twin: symmetrical shape with twin mounting holes |
| Core | Poplar Core: 100% FCS certified poplar wood, delivering an unbeatable strength-to-weight ratio used across the majority of PUBLIC boards |
| Laminates | Biax Glass: biaxial fiberglass layup that creates a consistent, smooth flex from tip to tail while keeping the board nimble and predictable |
| Sidewalls | Urethane Sidewalls: superior dampening properties compared to the industry standard ABS and P-Tex sidewalls, and more durable against impact on rocks or rails to prevent delamination |
| Base | Sintered Base: manufactured by crushing polyethylene pellets together under high pressure rather than extruding them, making it more porous for maximum wax absorption, and more abrasion-resistant, faster and more durable |
| Topsheet | Graphic topsheet (design varies by colorway) |
